What is Ginkgo Biloba?
Ginkgo Biloba has been around for a very long time. We have discovered
its presence in fossils dating back to 270million years old.
Ginkgo Biloba is traditionally used for increasing blood flow
throughout the body, but specifically to the brain for a possible
improvement in memory and cognitive function.
Recent Study On Ginkgo Biloba:
There was a finding of a decrease in theta power brain waves
in conjunction with an increase in alpha power brain waves
associated with Ginkgo Biloba supplementation is in line with
the frequency profile that has been found to be associated
with good cognitive and memory performance. (1)
revealed that 30-day administration of 120 mg/day Ginkgo Biloba
in young volunteers resulted in significant improvements in
both digit span backwards and working memory speed. (2)
